Moved by,Mogren, seconded by White that the - minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, May 21 st, 1945 be approved as read; carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -640, AN ORDINANCE a_mend.ing subsection (b) of S.Ction-2, subsection (b) of Section 10, and subsection (b) of Section 15, and Section 6 of Ordina nce No. 5 -293, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE regulating and restricting the loca.tion.of trades and industrie ; regulating and limiting the use of buildings and premises; and the height and size of buildings; providing for yards, courts and other open spaces; establishing districts for said purposes, and providing for a board of adjustment, and. repealing Ordinances Nos. B -22, B735, B -471, B -51, B -71, B -126, B -147 and B -172, and declaring an emergency.. Moves by Mogren, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -640 be passed as read: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting,a.,ye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by White that this being the time for the.hearing on the assessment roll in L.I.D. No. 587, provicing for the construction of a'sidewalk on the east side of South 7th Street from Beech to Race, and there being no objections in writing or otheriraise to said - assessment roll or any part thereof; it is ordered that th Ordinance confirming said assessment roll, and every part thereof be passed as read: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE N0: B -641, AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll, covering Local Improv ment District No. 587, as created and established by Ordinance No. B -623 of the Ordin- ances of the City of Yakima. Mover. by Clark, seconded by White that Ordinance No. B -641 be passed as read; carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -642, AN ORDINANCE providing for licensing and regulating the operation of certain amusement machines commonly known as "Pinball machines" and other devices an games for use by the public; providing penalties for the violation hereof;, repealing ordinances in conflict herewith, and fixing the effective date of this ordinance: Moved by Mogren, seconded by Clark that Ordinance B -642 be passed as read: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call.
