Moved by White, seconded by Mogren that the following payroll be approved and the City Clerk authorized to issue sn�rarrants as follo,,Js: Street Dept.. 1,275.8 ,q; Sanitation Dept. X1,;7;.10; Cemetery $780.00; Water Dept. $51.67: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by White, seconded by Mogren that the following claims be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants a.s. follows: C. E. 5,761.48; Street-01,171.40; Cemetery $196.37; L.T.D's $10,481.91; Irrigation $83.67; Water $4,571.20; Oil & Gas ,,1,197.76; Cumulative Reserve (St.Purp.) $$654.87; carried, Mogren,,White and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Mogren, seconded by White that Eugene Ivy be appointed to fill out the unexpir ed term of Don M. Tunstall on the Adjustment.Board for a term of six years: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting ay.e on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Mogren that this being tre time for the hearing on Resolu- tion No. C -654 for the vacation of a portion of West A Street and there being no objec- tions in writing or otherwise to said vacation proceedings or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance vacating said property be passed as read: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE N0. B -638, AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of a. portion of West "A" Street. Moved by Clark, seconded by Mogren that Ordinance No. B -63$ be passed as read: carried Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. 0-655, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON: That it is its intention to improve Twenty- -ninth Avenue South from West Chestnut Street to West Walnut Street, by constructing concrete curbs and gutters, all of said improvement to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and specifications to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed. with the City Clerk. The district to be served by and assessed for the above describ- ed improvement is described improvement is described as follows, to -wit: The West one -half of Lots 1 to 10, and the East one - half of Lots 11 to 20, Nob-Hill Orchard Heights Adjoining North Yakima., according to the official plat thereof recorded in Volume "E" of Plats, page 25, Records of Yakima County, Washington. All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improve- ment are hereby notified to appear and present such objection, if any, at a meeting of the City Commission to be held. at its office Aw the City Hall in the City of Yakima, Yakima. County, Washington, at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., on Monday, the 4th day of June,.1945, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relat- ing to said proposed improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the method of payment for said improvement; and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and of the intention to -make the aforesaid_ improvement. The cost and expense of said improvement, including the-cost of acquiring right of way easements, engineering, surveying, advertising, publication of notices, and all other expenses incident thereto., shall be borne by:,and'aseessed agains all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor as provided by la.w and as above described; and the City Engineer is hereby_ directed to submit- -to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data and. other information required by law to be by him submitted.
