ThP O'iity Commission met in regular session, Mayor Mogren, Commissioners White and Cla.r•
present on roll call.
Mov1,3 by Mogren, seconded by White that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
April 23rd, 1945 be approved as read: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on
roll call._
-Move by White, seconded by Mogren that the payrolls for the month of April, 1945, be
allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Various Depts.
9$3,696.10; Fire Department $8,,265.00; Police Department $5,864.16; Health Dept. $1,172-5);
Engineering Dept. $1,009.00• Li:bra.ry $1,036.25; Irrigation A,750.00; F.R.& P. $1,765-55);
P.R.& P. $140.00; Cemetery 315.00; City Street:9$275.00: ca.r.ried, Mogren, White and
Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Mogren that this being the time for receiving bids for the
construction of paving Lots 13 to 32 inclusive in Block 70, City, and the bid of J. M.
DeBlasio in the sum of $1,622.35 being the only bid received, said bid is hereby awarde
said contract and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a contract
on behalf of the City of Yakima for doing said work: carried, Mogren, White and Clark
voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Mogren, seconded by White that we do now adjourn:
