Moved by Mogren, seconded by White that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, February 19, 1945, be' approved as read: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by White that this being the time for receiving bids for improving lots.l to 32, Block 9, by paving and the construction of a sewer, in L.I.D. No. 589, the following were received: J. M.-DeBlasio $4,067.85; L. Coluccio -& Co., 1�,039-90; Matt Ma.la.spino & Co., $7,838.45; the bid of J. M. DeBlassio in the sum of 067.95; being the lowest and best bid, said contract was awarded to him, and the Mayor and the City Clerk authorized to exxcute a contract on behalf of said City, for doing said work: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved. by Clark, seconded by White that this being the ime for receiv-ing.bids on a. Rock Crusher heretofore advertised by the City Commission, the following were received: Acme Equipment Co. $11,775.00; Sundfelt Equipment Co., $$14,500.00; A. H..Cox & Co., $30,485.004; Columbia Equipment Co., $33,085.00; Howard Cooper Corp., x$19,669.00; Action on above bids to be postponed until a later date: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -631, AN ORDINANCE to provide for the regulation of the operation of refrigerated lockers and the dealing in, handling and processing of food for human consumption in connection therewith; to provide standards of_s.anitation and quality; to provide a system of permits; defining certain offenses and providing penalties therefor; and declaring and emergency. Moved by Mogren, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -631 be passed as read. carried Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by White, seconded by Mogren: that we do now adjourn to meet Wednesday, February 28, 1945 at 9 o'clock A.M: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll Ball. R. & P. 1140.00; Cemetery $315.00; City Street $275.00: carried, Mogren White and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by White that the bond-of L. Coluccio, contractor in L.I.D. No. 589, in the sum of $23,738.25 is hereby approved, and filed with the City Clerk: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call.
