Mover? by Mogren, seconded by White January 29th,•1945 and the adjourn Mogren, White and Clark voting aye Moved by White, seconded by Mogren Clerk authorized to issue warr?nts Cemetery $252,00: carried Mogren, that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, ad meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, on role call. that the following .payrolls be =allowed and the City as follows; Sanitation $1,332.00; Street $1,468 >50; White and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Mogren tha.t.this being the time for receiving bids for the construction of a sewer and domestic water system im L.I;D. No. 588, the following were received: L. Colucclo,$23,738.2 ; J. M. DeBlasio,$24,439 65; H. H. Walker, Inc., $39,441.25; Valley Construction Co.,44,001.23; M. P. Munter. Co., $33,348.95; J. P. Surace, $25,842.97; Thorburn & Logozo,$24,927.35o The bid of L. Coluc.,io_in the sum of $23,738.25 is hereby accepted as the lowest and best bid and the-Mayor and City Clerk authorized to execute a contract on behalf of said City upon the filing of the proper bond as provided by law; carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. 0- 646,.WHEREAS, by ordinance it is provided that on the first Idonday in.. February of each year, the City Commission of the City of Yakima, Washington, shall pass a resolution ?prescribing the form of contract for the City advertising for the ensuing ,year; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Commission that the form of contract for the city advertising for the ensuing year shall be in substantial- ly the form hereto attached and made a part hereof, and the C'ty Clerk is hereby direct ed to give notice for sealed proposals for a contract for doing the City advertising for the ensuing year by'publishing the same in the newspaper doing the City printing and advertising for two successive issues, which notice shall contain a general state- ment of the terms of the contract to be let, together with the time and place when said bids will be opened, and providing that any and all bids may be rejected.. The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Mogren, and Commissioners White and Clark present on roll call._ Moved by Clark, seconded by White that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to give notice to bidders for a new or used Rock Crushing Machine 1,oith accessoried thereof; said bids to be received on Monday, February 26, 1945 at 10 o'clock A.M: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C -547, A RESOLUTION authorizing the City of Yakima to lease to S. J. Feser, a portion of the North Half of the Southeast Quarter of Southeast Quarter of Section 29, Township 13 North, Range 19, E,W.M.; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CI`T'Y COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA: That there'be leased to S. J. Feser that part of the property described in the caption hereof, not used or occupied by the City of Yakima or by the company making fertilizer thereon, at a cash rental of One Hundred and no /100 Dollars ($100.00). Said lease to be in accordance with the terms and provisions of that certain lease attached. hereto; and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized, empowered, and directed to execute said lease.on behalf of the City of Yakima.
