The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Mogren, Commissioners White and Clark
present on roll call.
Moved by Mogren, seconded by White that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
January 22, 1945, be approved as read.: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on
roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -629, AN ORDINANCE amending Section 13 of Ordinance -No.. B-65 entitled:
"An Ordinance providing for the raising of revenues; licensing public dance halls and
cabarets: requiring a. permit for public dances and cabarets; regulating public dance
halls and. cabarets; providing for revoc4tion of licenses and permits issued; providing
a penalty for the violation thereof; repealing Ordinance A -827 and Ordinance A -243
and a.11 other Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict therewith and declaring
emergency,' an emergenc,' and declaring an emergency.
Moved. by Mogren, eeconded by Clark: that Ordinance No. B -629 be passes as finally read:
carried, Mogren, White and Clark. voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Mogren, seconded by White that we do now ad0ournfto meet Wednesday, January
31st, 1915, at 9 o'clock, A.M.
ADJOURNED MEETING, WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 31st., 1945 , 9 A.M.
The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Mogren, a.nd Commissioners White
and Clark present on roll call.
Moved. by White, seconded by. Mogren that the payrolls for the month of January 1945 be
allowed. and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows; Various Dept.
$3,911.10; Fire Depts. $9,295.00; Police $5,923,1; Health Dept. $1,172,0; Engineering
$735,09; Library $999:90; Irrigation $922.92; Water $5,056.90; F.R.& P X1,765.55;
P.R. & P $140.00; Cemetery 4315,00; City Street $275,00: carried, Mogren, White and
Clark voting aye on roll call:.
