The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Mogren and Commissioners.White and
Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Mogren, seconded by White that the minutes of the regular meeting of Tuesday,
December 26th, .,1944 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: 'carried,
Mogren, White and Clark voting a.ye on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO. C -644, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of the following described
real estate:. Lot 10, Block 166, Coliege Addition.to North Yakima. (now Yakima.), accord
.ing to the 'off.icia.l plat thereof .now on file and of record in the office of, the Audito
of Yakima County, Washington.
WHEREAS, the -City of Yakima is the owner of a part of the follo
'no- described real estate situated in' Yakima. County, State of Washington,to -wit:
Lot 1.0, Block 166, College Addition to north
Yakima (now Yakima), according to the official
plat thereof now on file and of record in the
office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington,
by reason of a. deed therefor issued by the Treasurer of Yakima County, County of
Yakima, State of Washington, to said City of Yakima., on sale'of said property for de-
linquent taxes, and
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of said City of
Yakima to sell said premises to Calvin Owens and Anna R. Owens, husband and wife,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:
That said above described premises be and they are hereby author
i:zed to be sold to Calvin'Owens and Anna R. Owens, husband and wife, for the total
sum of One Hundred Fifty and no /100 ($150.00) Dollars, and the Mayor, A. W. Mogren,
is hereby authorized to execute a deed to said premises, and the City Clerk, Pearl
Benjamin, is hereby authorized and directed to attest .the same for and on behalf of
the said City .of Yakima.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved this 2nd day
of January, 1945.
