Moved by Mogren, seconded by White that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, December 18, 1944 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll .call. Moved by White, seconded by Mogren that the following claims be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Current Expense $2 032.•78; Street $553.38; Wate.r_$266.94; Park $279.95; Cemetery $4.06; P. R. & P. 44.00; F. R. & P. $3.00: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting eye- on.roll call. A Moved by White, seconded by Mogren that the following payrolls be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Sanitation $1,231.25; Street $1,408.16; Cemetery.$171.64; carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C_643, A RESOLUTION providing for the transfer of surplus funds from the "Delinquent Property Sales Fund" to the "Cumula.tive Reserve Fund, For Municipal Purposes A WHEREAS, there is now on hand surplus funds in the "Delinquent Property Sales Fund" which are not needed for other purposes and are no longer needed in said fund. WHEREAS Fund for Municipal Purposes ", necespary financing for a new WHEREAS the City that said unexpended "Cumulative Reserve Fund for the City has heretofore created a "Cumulative Reserve for the purpose, among other things of providing the City Hall, and. the City Commission deems it for the best interest of surplus funds above referred to be transferred to the Municipal Purposes ", now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY.THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA: 1. That the City Treasurer is hereby authorized, empowered and directed to transfer $18,915.13 of the surplus funds from the "Delinquent Property Sales Fund ", to the "Cumulative Reserve Fund for Municipal Purposes ". ORDINANCE 90. B -626, AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll,. covering Local Improvement District No. 5 ,52 as created and established by Ordinance No. B -599 of the Ordinances,of the Citv of Yakima. Moved by Clark, seconded ! by- White.th.at Ordinance B -626 be- passed as read: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark., seconded by White that this being the time for the hearing on the essespment roll -in L.I.D. No. 586`, and there being no objections in writing. or other - wise'to said assessment roll, or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance confirming said assessment roll and every part thereof be passed as finally read: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. B -6 �7, AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll, covering Local Improvement District No. 586, as created and established by OrdinanceNo. B -613 of the Ordinances of the City of Yakima. Moved by Clark, seconded by White that Ordinance.B -627 be passed as read: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved. by White, seconded by Mogren that the following warrants which are outstanding be cancelled and the City Clerk'is hereby authorized to cancel same as follows: Warrant No. 26037 dated December 16 1943 3 in the sum of $12. 6 issued to Wise Auto Top Shnn.and. Warrant No. 26155, dated February 17, 1944, in the sum of $1.01 issued to - -Bl -k:e, Moffett & Towne, both. of said warrants being issued on the water fund: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call.
