Moved by Mogren, seconded,by.White that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, December 4th, 1944 be approved as read: carried Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Mogren, seconded by White that this being the time for receiving bids for the construction of a sewer on North 6th Street between F and G Streets, in L.I.D. 587, the following bids were received; Melvin Eckstein $ 565.2.0; J. M. DeBlasio $565.20 The bid of J. M. DeBlasio was accepted and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to enter into a contract for said work for and on behalf of the City of Yakima: carried Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B ^625, AN'ORDINANCE amending'Ordinance No. B -131 entitled "AN ORDINANCE" relating to and regulating to:and regulating traffic, travel and transportation and their incidents upon the streets and other ways open to the public; prescribing the powers and duties of officers and others in relation thereto; defining offenses; pro- viding penalties and repealing certain ordinances concerned with or relating to the subject matter of this ordinance and declaring an emergency." amending Section 89 thereof and declaring an emergency. Moved by Mogren, seconded.by White that Rrdinance No. B -625 be passed as read: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call.
