The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Mogren and Commissioners White and
Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Mogren, seconded. by White that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
September 25, 1944 and. adjourned meeting thereof, be approved as read: darried,
Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by White, eeconded by Mogren that Ordinance No. B -618, fixing the amount of the
tax levies'.for the 1945 budget be read and final passage postponed to Friday,'October
6th, 1944: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call.
MoveA by Clark, seconded. by White that the following payrolls be allowed and. the City
Clerk authorized. to issue warrants as follows: Sanitation_ Dept. $1,296.60; Street
Dept., $1,341.75; Cemetery $558.75: carried, Mogren, White and Clark.voting aye on
roll call.
Moved by Mogren, seconded by White that we do now adjourn to meet Friday, October 6,
1944, at 9 o'clock. A. M: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ADJOURNED MEETING, FRIDAY, OCTOBER 6, X944.
ORDINANCE NO. B -619, AN ORDINANCE fixing the amount of the tax levies necessary to
ra.isP the amount of the estimated eypenditures of the City of Yakima for the ensuing
year, to be .levied. upon the real and personal property of said City.
Moved by White, seconded by Mogren that Ordimnce No. B -619 be passed as finally read:
carried., Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Mogren, seconded by White that we do now ad.journ: carried Mogren, White and
