The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Mogren and Commissioners White and
Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Mogren, seconded by White that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
September 11th, 1944 be approved as read: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting
aye on roll call.
Moved, by White, seconded by Mogren that the following payrolls be allowed and the City
Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: City Street $1395.75; Sanitation $1260. 0
•Cemetery $907.00:' carried, Mogren, White.and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by White that this being the time for the hearing on the
assessment roll in L.I.D. No: 593, and there being no objections in writing or other-
wise to said assessment roll or any part thereof, it is ordered that the ordinance
confirming said assessment roll and every part thereof be passed. as finally read:

ORDINANCE NO. B -616, AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll covering Local Improve
ment District No. 583, as created and established by Ordinance No. B -608, of the
ordinances. of the City of Yakima., Washington._
Moved by Mogren, seconded by White that Ordinance No. B- 616.be.pas•sed as read: carried
Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B1617, AN ORDINANCE amending Section 1 of Ordinance No. B -296 entitled
"An Ordinance defining milk and cream and certain products milk producer, pasteurizatio
and etc., prohibiting the sale of adulterated and misbranded milk and inilk products,
providing for the qualification of the City Milk Inspector and his deputies, if any,
requiring permits and licenses -for sale of milk and milk products, regulating the
Inspection of dairy farms and milk plants, the examination, grading, labeling, placard -
ing pasteurization, regrading; distribution and sale and denaturing of milk products,,
providing for the publishing of milk grades, regulating the construction of future da:=
iries and milk plants and .providing a penalty for violation hereof and repealing
Ordinance No. A- 153." amd declarl-Mg an emergency.
