Thy n1ty Commission met in regu?A'r segsinn, Mayor Mogren -and Commissioners Clark and
White present on roll call.
Moved by Mogren, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
August 21, 3.944, and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Mogren,
White and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by White that.the City Engineer having reported the completion
of the- sidewalk on the west side of queen Ave, in L.I.D. 583, in the sum of $551.70,
said work is hereby accepted and the City Engineer authorized to prepare an assessment
roll for said district and the City Clerk instructed to give notice of hearing on said
district for `Monday,, .September 18, 1944 at 10 o'clock A.M.: carried, Mogren, White
and Clark voting aye on-roll call.
Moved by White, seconded by Mogren that we do now.adjourn to meet Thursday, August 31,
1944 at 9 o'clock A. M: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting -aye on roll call.

Moved by Mogren, seconded by -White that the payrolls for the month of August 1944_
be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Various Depts.

Health De artment '$982�;50;'Library $995.80; F.R. & P. $1,394.82 P.R. & P. $14 ®.00;
