Move? by Mogren, seconded by Clark that the following claims be allowed and.the City Clerk a.uthorived •to issue•warrante as follows: Current Expense $162.99; Cemetery $147.97; City Street $2,736.28; Water $105.83: carried, Mogren and Clark voting aye on roll call,.White absent. Moved by, Mogren, seconded by Clark that the City Clerk is hereby instructed to give notice.to G. P. George, owner -of Restaurant License No.. 6955, why said license should not be revoked'by -the City-of Yakima for failure to comply.with the rules and regula- tiohe of Section 6, of Ordinance No.'B -56 of the Ordinances of the City of Yakima; - said hearing to be held on Thursday August 24th -, 1944. at-10 o•° clock,• A. George, operator of the Strand Cafe at 14 North First Street, and testimony being submitted by said -G. P. George by his attorney Chalmer G. Walters, and. the City being represented by its City Attorney, Harry Olson.
