Moved by Mogren, seconded by White that the minutes of the regular meeting of July 24,
1944, be.adopted a-e read: Carried, Mogren and White voting aye on roll call,.Clark
absent.-
Moved -by White, seconded by Mogren that the payrolls for: the month of July 1944 be-
.allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants ae follows: Various Depts.

MoveA by White, seconded by Mogren that the following payrolls be allowed and the
City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows; Sanitation Dept. $1,299.35;
Street*Dept. $1,263.00; Cemetery $621:75: carried, Mogren and White .voting aye on
roll call, Clark absent.
Move,' by Mogren, seconded by White that this being the time for receiving; bids for the
construction of a Portland Cement concrete sidewalk on the east side of South 7th
Street from.Beeeh to Race; the bid of J. M. DeBlasio was the only one received, which
was as follows: for a 6 foot sidewalk $657.01; for a 5 foot sidewalk $572.68. A bid
was also-received from J. M. .De Blaaio for the construction .of a sidewalk on-Lots
1 to 8 -, Rainier Addition,,- L.I.D. No. 582,1n the-sum of $570,10, All bide were taken
under advisement to be reported on at.a later date: - carri.ed,..Mogren.a.nd White voting
aye on roll..call, Clark absent.
