member to.the Advisory Board to succeed W. P. Hews. It is ordered that R. D. Stebbins

CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:
That said.above described premises be and they are hereby
authorized to be sold,to Fred Noel an unmarried man, for the total sum of Ten
Thousand.Three Hundred and no /100 t$10,300.00).Dollars, and the Mayor_, A. W. Mogren,
is hereby -authorized to execute.a deed to said premises, and the City - Clerk., Pearl
Benjamin, is hereby authorized- -and directed to attest the same for and on behalf of
the said City o� Yakima.;

ADJOURNED MEETING, WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26, 1944 2 P.M.
The Citv Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Mogren and Commissioners White
and Clark present on roll call. '
Resolution No.C633, A RESOLUTION relating to the closing of that portion of South
First Avenue vacated by Ordinance No. B -596.
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima did heretofore, by Ordinance No'. B -596
vacate a portion of South First Avenue, which Ordinance provided that said street so
vacated should not be.- closed -to traffic or the use thereof—by—the Public until full
scale building operations of-the.-California Packing Corporation had actually commenced
and progressed to the stage where the permanent - closing of said-street to use by.the
public was necessary, and -_
WHEREAS, the California Packing Corporation now desires to commence

such full scale operations, and has submitted to the City of Yakima plans and spec-
ifications therefore, has secured the necessary priorities,.a.nd has let a contract for
said construction and is now ready -to proceed therewith; now-, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION.OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA
that the plane and specifications heretofore submitted by the California Packing
Corporation and filed with the City of Yakima and.the construction therein provided for
constitute full scale building operations as contemplated and required by said Ordinance
No. B-596-and permission is- hereby granted to said- California Packing Corporation to
effect the closing of that portion of South First Avenue heretofore vacated upon'the
same becoming necessary by the construction of the building in - accordance with-said plan
and specifications. -
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION this 26th day of July,
1944.

incidents upon the streets and.other ways open to the public; prescribing the powers
and duties of officers and others in relation thereto; defining offenses; providing
penalties and repealing certain ordinances- concerned with or.relating to the subject
matter of'this ordinance, and declaring an emergency,10 and declaring an emergency.
