The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Mogren and Commissioners White and
.Clark present on roll call.
Moved.by Mogren, seconded by White that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday
July'3rd, 1944-be approved as read: carried Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll
call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by White that Resolution No. C -593 between the City of Yakima
and Lyle Tomlinson and Viola I. Tomlinson, husband and wife, for the sale of City Tract
194 -t�. da.ted October 13, 1943., . is hereby cancelled-on account. of Forfeiture- of• contract:
carried, Mogren, White -and Clark voting aye on roll.call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -612, entitled "AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. B -604 entitled, 'AN
ORDINANCE relating to the Parks of the City of Yakima., providing for their operation
by.the Metropolitan Park District of Yakima; authorizing the use of City owned equip-
' ment and providing for the payment of compensation for .the operation of said parks
during -the year 1944..'and declaring an emergency.1B was introduced by- Mogren and -read
by the City Clerk.
Moved by Mogren, seconded by White that Ordinance No. B -612 be passed as finally read:

Resolution No. .0 -631, WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is.,the owner of the following de-
scribed real propert;y,;situated in Yakima County, State of.Washington, to -wit: The
north 130 feet-of the south. 635 feet of the .east 264 feet of the Southwest 1/4 of the
Southwest 1/4 of -Section. 13, Township 13 North, #ange 19, E.W.M.. ..(City Tract 110), -
by reason of a deed issued by the .Treasurer of Yakima County, County of Yakima, state
of - Washington, to said City" of Yakima, on sale of .said property-for delinquent. taxes,
and
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of said City of
Yakima to sell said premises to Louis H. Perkins and Mattye Perkins, - husband and wife,
NOW, THEREFORE,,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION•OF THE
CITY OF YAKIMA, WASEINGTON:
That said above.dedcribed premises be and they are hereby autho
ized to be sold to.Louis H. Perkins and Mattye Perkins, husband and wife, for the
total sum of six hundred and no /100 ($600.00) Dollars-, and the- Mayor, A. W,'Mogren,
is hereby authorized -to execute a deed to said premises,-and the "City Clerk; Pearl
Benjamin, is hereby authorized and directed.to.attest the same for and on behalf of
the City of Yakima.
