The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Mogren and. Commissioners Whi -te and
Clark present on roll call.
,.,Moved. by Mo ren, seconded by White that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
June 26, 1914 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Mogren,
White and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved' by Mogren, seconded-by White- that the action of the Investment .Committee is. here-
by approved for the purchase of U. S. Treasury Certificates'Series 100 "-for investment
as - follows: $25,000.00 from the Water Deposit Fund and $25,000.00 from the. Cemetery
Trust Fund: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call
Moved by White, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on.Resolution
No. C -625 for the construction of an Irrigation and Domestic Water System on 25th Avenue
South Nob-Hill Boulevard and other streets in the City of Yakima, and there being no
objections in writing or. otherwise to said improvement, or any part thereof, it is
ordered that the ordinance creating a local improvement district be passed as finally
read: carried, Mogren, White and .Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE N0. B -611, AN ORDINANCE providing for the - improvement of property in the City
Yakima, Washington by the construction of a dual irrigation and domestic water system,
establishing a local - improvement district, providing -for the method of payment there
fore and creating a special fund. -
Moved by Clark, seconded by Mogren that Ordinance No. B -611 be passed as finally read:
carried, Mogren,.White and Clark voting aye on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO. C -630, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale -of Lot 9, Block 44, Tennant &
Miles' West Modern Addition to North Yakima (now Yakima).
..WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the following de-
scribed real property situated in Yakima County, State of Washington to -wit:
Lot 8, -Block 44, Tennant & Miles.° West Modern
Addition to North. Yakima (now Yakima), according
to the official plat thereof now on file and of
record in the office of the Auditor of. Yakima
County,- Washington,
by reason of a deed therefor issued by the Treasurer of Yakima County,- County of
Yakima, Washington, to said City of Yakima, on sale of said property for delinquent
taxes , and
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of said City of
Yakima to sell said premises to Oscar Pergquist and Christine Bergquist, husband and
wife,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON
That said above described premises be and they -are hereby author-
ized to be sold to Oscar.Bergquist and Christine Bergquist, husband and wife, for the
total sum of One Hundred Fifty and no /100 ($150.00) Dollars, and the Mayor, A. W. Mogre
is hereby authorized to execute a deed -to said premises., -and the City.Clerk' Piparl
Benjamin, is hereby authorized and directed to attest the same for and on behalf of the
City. of Yakima.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved this 3rd day
of July, 1944.
