Moved by Mogren, seconded by White that the minutes of the regular meeting of. Monday, June the 5th, 1944 and adjourned meeting thereof be..approved as read: carried, Mogren,-White and Clark, present .on.. roll- call. Moved by,Clark, seconded by Mogren that this being the time for receiving bids for the construction of a cement sidewalk on Queen Avenue between Division and.Haynes Street in L.I..D. No. 593, and the.bid of,J. M. DeBlasio in the sum.of $427..97 being the only bid- submitted; it i.s ordered that the awarding of.said bid be made at a -later date:" carried; Mogren, White and Clark voting -aye on roll call. ADJOURNED MEETING;-THURSDAY, JUNE 15, 1944 9-A.M.. The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Mogren and Commissioners White and Clark present on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C_6 �50 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY'OF.YAKIMA, WASHINGTON: -That it is.its intention to construct a dual.irrigation and domestic water system to serve all of the lots and tracts of land included within the following distrt t; - ,Beginning at the intersection of 25th Ave. South and South Nob Hill Boulevard, thence westerly along South Nob -Hill Boulevard to 26th - Avenue South; thence Northerly along 26th avenue south to the Naches and Cowyche Canal; thence easterly along said canal to a point midway between 26th avenue- South.a.nd 25th Avenue South; thence southerly and- parallel with 26th Avenue South a�- distance - of 34& feet, more or _less to the north line of Lot 5, Block 3-Mayfair Addition; thence easterly along -said north line to 25th Avenue South; thence southerly along 26th avenue.South to the point of beginning. Said-improvement to consist of the construction of the necessary mains, fire hydrants, valves and other appurtenances for the purpose of supplying the domestic water to all.prop.erty within the district fronting -on 26th Avenue South and also the construction of the necessary mains, service connections and other appurten- ances for the purpose of delivering irrigation water to all -lots or tracts of- land lying within said district and south of the north line of Block 3 of Mayfair Addition.
