Moved by Mogren; seconded by White that the minutes of the regular meeting of Friday, May 26th, 1944, be approved as read: carried,Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. - Moved by"-Whites seconded by Mogren that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to issue warrants on the following funds in payment of.Claims; Current Expense $3,.484 °39; City Street $29'0.94; Park $1,997 °79; Cemetery $348.80; -W4ter $443.37; Delinquent Property Sale _$10,129,.19: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll.call. Moved-by-White, seconded -by Mogren that we do now adjourn to meet Wednesday, May 31st, 1944 at 9 o'clock A.M:. carried, Mogren, White and.Clark voting Aye.on roll call. ADJOURNED_MEETING, WEDNESDAY, MAY 31, 1944, 9A °M RESOLUTION NO. 0-621, A RESOLUTION transferring the unexpended cash balance in the Park Fund to the Current Expense Fund; WHEREAS, there has been duly created by the vote of the peopie of the City of Yakima, a Metropolitan Park District, the limits of which are co- extensive with the limits of the City of Yakima, and Whereas, the City of Yakima has heretofore by Ordinance No. B -604 provided for the operation of the City Parks during the year of 1944-by the Metropolitan Park District at an agreed compensation and has by said Ordinance pro-' vided for the continued operation of said parks by said Metropolitan Park District for future years, and - WHEREAS, the City of.Yakima has in its Park Fund the sum of $10,426.55...Dollars which is not needed for the operation of said parks and will not be-needed in the future for the reason that the.Metr-opolitan -Park District will pro - vide - 16' own funds by taxation and. as otherwise authorized bylaw. -:so that said -cash balance now in .said „Park.Fund- should be transferred- -to :the current ;expense .f.und.. NOW, .THEREFORE, .-BE. IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY .,..COMMISSION _. -OF., THE CITY OF YAKIMA that.the cash balance of $10,426.55 Dollars now in, the Park Fund of the City of Yakima be transferred .and.- credited, to, :the- current Expense Fund of the.-,City of -Yakima.-and the City ,.Treasurer.-As hereby authorized and directed to - effect.. such transfer.
