The City Commission in regular session, Mayor Mogren -and Commissioners White and
Clark present on roll call.
-Moved b.y Mogren; seconded by White that the minutes of the regular. meeting'of Monday,
may 1st, 194 be approved as read: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on

ORDINANCE NO. B -607, entitled,1°AN ORDINANCE creating a. Cumulative Reserve Fund for
Municipal Purposes as authorized by Chapter 60, Laws of 1941 of the State of Washington;
providing for the payment into said fund of all sums now or herea.fter,,ba?dgeted e'nd
anrronriated. therefore as for the expenditure thereof, and declaring an emergency,, ° was
introduced by White and read by the City Clerk.

RESOLUTION N0, C -612, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of Lots 5 and 6, Block44,
Tennant & Miles' West Modern Addition to North Yakima (now Yakima).
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the,followirig describ
ed real property situated in Yakima County, State of Washington to -wit:
Lots 5 and 6, Block 44, Tennant & Miles West
Modern Addition to North Yakima. (now Yakima),
according to the official plat there.of` now on file and of record in the office of the
Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, by'reason of a deed therefor issued by the
Treasurer of Yakima County, County of Yakima., Washington, to said City of Yakima, on
sale of said property for delinquent local improvement assessments, and

WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of said City of
Yakima to sell said premises to Oscar Bergquist and Christine Bergquist, husband'a.nd
wife,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT.RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:.
That said above described premises be and they are hereby author-
ized to be sold. to Oscar Bergquist and Christine Bergquist, husband and wife, for the
total sum of Three Hundred Ten and no /100 ($310.00) Dollars, and the Mayor, A. W.
Mogren, is hereby authorized to execute a deed to said. premises, and the City Clerk,
- Pearl Ber1jamin, is hereby authorized a.nd.directed to a.tt4st the same for and on behalf
of the City of Yakima.

WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the following descri
ed real property situated in Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, to -wit:
Lot 24, Block 2, Bungalow Addition to North Yakima(now Yakima),
according to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the
Auditor of Yakima. County, Washington, by reason of a deed therefor issued by the
Treasurer of Yakima. County, County of Ya-kima., State of Washington, to said City of
Yakima, on sale of said property for delinquent taxes,and
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best ,interest of said. City of

zed tobe sold. to Wiley Burch and Phletis Burch, husband and wife, for the total sum
of One Hundred Eighty -five and no /100 (x$195.00) Dollars, payable as follows: the sumof
Thirty -five -and no /100 ($35.00) Dollars in cash upon the execution of the contract here
In cash upon the execution of the contract herein authorized and the balance of, One
'•-Hundred Fifty an(.� no /100 0150.00) Dollars in.monthl.y payments of five and no /100 ($5.0
Dollars, beginning June 15, 1944, and continuing until the entire amount has been paid.
All deferred nayyments to bear interest at the rate of six per cent per annum payable
monthly with. principal payments.
The purchaser under said contract shall also agree to pay all
assessments against said premises-falling due under any Local Improvement District or
Districts h.?r.ea.f.ter created or arising from levies hereafter placed against said
premises, and the Mayor arid. City, Clerk of said City are hereby authorized and. directed

Said agreement to be entered into shall -also contain suitable provi-
sions requiring any buildings upon said premises to b.e insured at the expense of the
second parties in a solvent insurance company satisfactory to first party as. its interest
may appear and. shall contain a provision that in case of destruction of or damage to any
buildings or improvements on said premises such damage or loss shall be the loss of
second r..a.rties and shall not be a ground for rescission of said contract; and said con-
tract;shall also contain a suitable provision providing for forfeiture thereof upon
failure of second party to make any payment of principal,'interest, taxes or assessments
therein provided for when same shall become due or delineuen.t, notice of such forfeiture
to be for 30 days and service thereof to be by serving same personally upon second part-
ies or by mailing to them at Yakima, Washington, and a further provision shall be placed
therein that upon final payment of said principal and interest and taxes and assessments
the first party shall convey said Premises to second parties by a good and sufficient
Quit Claim Deed conveying all the interest said City of Yakima has now in said premises;
and the further provision shall be contained in said contract against the assignment of
second parties without the consent of first party had and obtained.

according to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the
Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, by reason of a deed therefor issued by the
Treasurer of Yakima County, County of Yakima, State of Washington, to said City of Yakim

WHEREAS, IT appears to be for the best interest of said City of Yakima
to sell said premises to Eleanor R. Erickeen, wife of Charles P. Ericksen upon the terms
and conditions hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE UI'I'Y COMMISSION OF 'i:HE CITY
OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:
That said above described premises be and. they are hereby author-
ized to be sold to Eleanor. R. Ericksen, wife of Charles P. Ericksen - for the total sum
of Four-Hundred-and no /100 ($400.00) Dollars, payable as follows: the sum of Eighty and
no /100 ($£0.00) dollars in cash upon the execution of the contract herein authorized
