That said above described premises be and they are hereby author-
ized to be sold to A. B. Thieflus and Martha M. Thisius, husband and wife for the total
sum of Twenty -two Hundred and no /100 ($2200.00) Dollars, payable as follows: the sum
of Thirty -five and no /100 ($35.00) Dollars in cash upon the execution of.the contract
herein authorized and the balance of Twenty -one Hundred Sixty -five and no /100 Dollars
in monthly payments of Thirty -five and no /100 (35.00) Dollars, beginning May 1, 1941,
and corti-nuing until the entire amount has been paid.. All deferred payments to bear
interest at the rate of five per cent per annum payable monthly with principal payments
The purchaser under said contract shall also agree to pay all
assessments against said premises falling due under any Local Improvement District or
Districts hereafter created or arising from levies hereafter placed against said
premises, and the Mayor and City Clerk of said City are hereby.authorize'd and directed
to enter into a contract in duplicate with said purchaser under the terms hereinabove
set Borth.

RESOLUTION NO.0-601y A RESOLUTION authorizen the sale of City Tract 220 -Q and repeal -
ing'Resolution No. 0-498, dated March 24, 19 1. Beginning on the easterly line of
south First Street 400.feet southeasterly from intersection with south line.-'of Pacific
Avenue, thence northeasterly 145.�3'.ieet, southeasterly 100 feet, thence southwesterly
145.3 feet, thence northwesterly 100 feet to beginning..(Tract 220 -Q)-
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the following describe
real property situated in Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, to -wit:
Beginning on the easterly line of Sout First Street 400 feet

Avenue, thence northeasterly`145.3 feet, southeasterly 100
feet, thence southwesterly 145.3 feet, thence northwesterly
100 feet to beginning. (Tract 220 -Q)
according to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the
Auditor of Yakima. County, Washington, by reason of a deed therefor issued by H.,L.
Liston and Eva M. Liston, husband and wife, of County-of Yakima,-State of Washington,
to said City of Yakima and,
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of said City of :.
Yakima to sell said. premises to A. B. Thisius and Martha M. Thisius, husband and wife,

RESOLUTION NO. C -602, A RESOLUTION fixing and establishing the rentals to be paid by
i the operators occupying and using the Yakima. Municipal Airport.
BE'IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA
that the total rental to be paid by and collected from the operators using and occupy-
ing the Municipal Airport, beginning April lst,,1944, shall be the sum of Seven
Hundred.a.nd 00 /100 ($700.00), each month, payable on or before the 5th day of each
month, in advance.

Said agreement to be entered into shall also contain suitable
provisions requiring any buildings upon said premises _to be insured at the expense of
the second parties in 'a solvent insurance company satisfactory to first party as its
interest may appear and shall contain a provision that in case of destruction of or
damage to any buildings or improvements on said premises such damage or loss of second
parties and shall not -be ground for rescission of said contract; and. said contract
• shall also contain ,a. suitabI6 provision providing forfeiture thereof upon failure
.,for
of second party to make any payment of principal, interest, taxes or assessments there-
in provided for when same shall become due or delinquent, notice of such forfeiture to
be for 30 days and service thereof to be'by serving same personally upon second parties
or by mailing to them at Yakima, Washington, and a further provision shall be placed
therein that upon final payment of said principal and interest and taxes and assessment
the first party shall convey said premises to second parties by a. good -and sufficient
Quit Claim Deed conve,ying.all the interest. said City of Yakima has now in said premises
and the further provision shall be contained in said contract against the assignment of
second parties rithout the consent of first party had and obtained.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said rental shall be paid and divided
among the various operators on said airport on the following basis -and mariner;
a. One -third (1/3) or $233.00 thereof shall be based upon the total
hanger space occupied by all operators and each operator shall pay his porportionate
share thereof, based on the ratio of the hanger space of each operator to the total
hanger space occupied by all operators. The rental of'the airport residence with no
hanger space shall be Forty -five Dollars and oo /100 ($45.00) per month and shall be
included in said $233.00 portion of said rental, based on hanger space occupied, said
sum to be paid by the occupier of said residence.
b. One - third (113) or $233.00 thereof shall be based on the total numb-
er of ships "aircraft" under the control of the operator each month regardless of their
ownership, the number of said aircraft so under the control of the operator shall be
determined by a count to-be made any time during the month by the airport manager.
Such count bo Include active aircraft, dismantled aircraft, aircraft in storage, or in
repair. 1t will not include C.A.A. aircraft or Army or Navy aircraft operated directly
by the Army or Navy or C-.A.A., each operator shall pay such proportion of said $233.00
as the number of aircraft under control of such operator during the breceeding month
shall bear to the total number of aircraft under the control of all of the operators
during the proceeding month.
.c. One -third (1/3) or $234.00 thereof shall be based on the total
operations per month as"�shown by the records as kept by the C.A.A. control tower. By
operations is meant aircraft leaving the hanger area and field and returning to the
hanger again. "Touch and Go" maneuvers do not constitute an operation. Each operator
shall pay such porportionate share of said $234.00 as the number of operations had by
such operator during the nreceeding month shall bear to the number of operations had by
all operators during such prcceeding month.
d. No operator shall pay less than a monthly rental of $30.00 which is
hereby fixed as the minimum rental at said airport.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said rentals.shall be and remain subject to
revision by the City Commission at any time.
