The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Mogren and Commissioner White
present on roll call, Commissioner Clark absent.
Moved by Mogren, seconded by White that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
February 14, 1944 be approved as read: carried Mogren and White voting aye on roll
call, Clark absent.
Moved by White, seconded by Mogren that-the-following payrolls be allowed and the City
Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: City Street $1,634.25; Sanitation
$1,197.75; Cemetery $234.00: carried Mogren and.White vo.ting.aye on roll call, Clark
absent.
Moved by White, seconded by Mogren that the following claims be allowed and the City
Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Current Expense $2,430.24; City Street
$3,840.01; Library 511.89; Cemetery $223.62; Irrigation X23.31; Water $1,668.44;
Cumulative Reserve 25,000400; Cemetery, Trust $28,000.00; Water Deposit $3,500000;;
Larson Library $3,002.07: carried Mogren and White voting aye on roll call, Clark
absent.
Moved by Mogren, seconded by White that this being the time for receiving bids for

being the only bid received, it is ordered that the bid of the Republic Publishing
Company in the sum of $.55 per columninch be accepted and the Mayor and the City
Clerk authorized to enter into a contract on behalf of the City for the doing of said
