Moved by Mogren, seconded by White that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday January 24th, 1944 be approved as read: carried, Mogien, White and Clark voting aye on roll call Moved. by White, seconded by Mogren that the payrolls for the.month of.January be al- lowed and. the Citty Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Various Depts. 3,390.5; Police Dept. X5,350.16; Fire Dept. 75 00; Health De t.�62.50; Engineer in 'Dept. $666.9 14,609.59:- ; Irrigation 1618.36- C Library $965.40;F.R. & P. 1,208.05; P. R. & P. $l 0.00; Water carried, ogren, White and lark voting aye on roll call. Resolution No. 0-592, A RESOLUTION providing for the acceptance of bid and the executio of a deed to lots 9 and 10 of Block 254 of the Town of North Yakima (now Yakima) accord ing to the Plat thereof recorded in the office of the Auditor, Yakima County, Washingto . WHEREAS 'Pursuant to .Ordinance No. B -600 the City of Yakima duly called for bids as directed therein for the purchase of the property herein described, and WHEREAS, REDMON2FAIRCHILD, INC., submitted a bid of Twenty -six Hundred and 00 /100 Dollars, (02,600.00), which was the highest and best bid for said property, and have in all respects complied with the Ordinance providing for thesale of said. property, and have paid the city the full sum of their bid. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED b,y the City Commission of the City of Yakima:. 1. That the bid of Redmon - Fairchild., Inc., for Twenty -six Hundre and 00 /100 ($2,600.00) Dollars be and the same is hereby accepted and the Mayor and th City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute a good and proper deed convey ing said property described in the caption hereof, to Redmon- Fairchild, Inc. B -602, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE granting to Lindeman Power Equipment Co., a corporation, permission to construct, maintain and operate a railway spur track across South First Street and South Third Street, within the City of Yakima," was introduced'by Clark and read by the City Clerk. Moved by White and seconded by Mogren that Ordinance No. B -602 be passed to its second reading a.nd.read by title only: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by White and seconded by Mogren that Ordinance No. B -602 be passed to its third reading and read in full: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call.
