Moved by Mogren, seconded by White that the minutes of the regular meeting of.Monday, January 10, 1944 be approved as read: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by White, seconded;lby Clark that the following payrolls be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Street Dept., $2119.50; Cemetery $240.00 Current. Expense $50.00; Sanitation $1230.00; carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. I. Moved by White, seconded by Mogren that the following claims be allowed and the City Clerk authorized ... t.o issue warrants on the following funds: Current:Expense $5489.28; City Stre.et,'.$'2004.10; Library $299.•51; Cemetery $108.16; Irrigation'$22.21; Water $2,717.10; earri.ed., Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE-NO. B�-600,entitled,tOAN ORDINANCE for the sale of Lots 9 and 10 of Block 254 o the town of North'Yakima (now Yakima) accordin to the plat thereof recorded in Volume "A10 of Plats, Page 10, and recorded in Volume ',E" of flats, Page 1, records of Yakima County, Washing..ton; and directing the calling for bids therefore and declaring an emerg 'ency ';10,,was introduced by Clark and read by the City Clerk. Moved by Mogren, seconded by White that Ordinance No. B600 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. Resolution No. C -590, A RESOLUTION fixing the time for hearing on petition to vacate a portion of an alle.y. WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Commission of the Oity of Yakima, a municipal corporation, praying for the vacation of a portion of a alley described as follows, to -wit: now therefore, That portion of the alley between the East side of North First Avenue and the West side of the Northern Pacific right of way, bounded on the North by Lot 7, and on the South bra lots 4,5, and 6 of Block -E, of Mill View Addition to the City of Yakima, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA: That said petition b -e brought on for hearing and determination on Monday, the 7th day of February, 1944, at the hour of 10:00 O'clock in the forenoon on said day, at the office of the City Commission of the City of Yakima at the City Hall, in Yakima, Yakima County, Washington or a.s soon thereafter as the same may be heard, and that notice.of such hearing be given as provided by law.
