Unless terminated or renewed in accordance with this Agreement, this Agreement shall
be effective for a period of three years, commencing on the date both parties have signed this
Agreement.

A. Contract Renewal: This contract will be renewed automatically for up to two addition4
one-year terms, for a total contract period of five years, unless either party gives notice in writi•
to the other party at least 30 days prior to the annual expiration of the contract, that the contra
will not be renewed for an additional one-year term,
B. Contract Termination: Either party may, at any time and with 30 days written noti
to the other party, terminate this contract for any reason as of the date specified in said wrift
notice. . I
In addition to the specific contract conditions set forth above, the parties agree to tha,
following general contract conditions:
A. Insurance. ALS shall maintain insurance coverage that meets or exceeds the
requirements contained in YMC 5.96.110.

C. Taxes and Assessments. ALS shall be solely responsible for compensating il
employees and for paying all related taxes, deductions, and assessments, including but n

0. Interpretation. The terms of this agreement are in addition to the requirements and
terms contained in the Yakima Municipal Code, including Chapter 5.96, which is incorporated into
this Agreement by reference. In the event of a conflict between this Agreement or the YMC, the
