The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Mogren and Commissioner Clark present
on roll call, Commissioner Washburn absent.
Moved. by Mogren, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,.
October 19, 1942 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Mogren.
and Clark voting aye on roll call, Washburn absent.
Moved by Mogren, seconded by Clark that N. K. Buck be and he is her.eby'appointed to
the office of Trustee of the Public Library to fill the vacancy of Phil Ditter, decease
carried, Mogren and Clark voting aye on roll call, Washburn absent.
Moved by Mogren, seconded by Clark that Dr. H. S. McGuinness be appointed acting City
and County Health Officer to serve during the absence of Dr. Stanley R. Benner, Health
Officer: carried, Mogren and Clark voting aye on roll call, Washburn absent.
Moved by Mogren, seconded by Clark that we do now adjourn to meet Saturday, October
31, 1942 at nine o'clock A. M: carried, Mogren,and Clark voting aye on roll call,.
Washburn absent.

Moverl by Mogren, seconded by Clark that the payrolls for the month of October, 1942
be allowed and the City Clerk audhorized to issue warrants as follows: Various Depts.
$2448.85; Health Dept. $1165.50; Police Dept. $5445.22; Fire Dept. $6873.04; Engineer-
ing $745.48; Library $937.20; F. R. & P. $90.7.05; P. R. & P. $140.00; Irrigation $401.
00; Cemetery $265.00; City Street $337.50; Parking Meter $125.00 and Water $4682.90:
carried, Mogren and Clark voting aye on roll call, Washburn absent.
