Moved. by Mogren, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
September 21, 1942 be approved as read: carried, Mogren, Washburn and Clark voting aye
on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Mogren that the following payrolls be allowed and the
Cit,y.Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Sanitation Dept. $990.10; Park
Dept. $372.79; Cemetery $151.25; Cemetery Care $263.75; Street $965.68; Street Mtse.
$306.57: carried, Mogren, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO. C -553, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of Lot 12, Block 34, Tennent
& Miles' New Modern Addition to North Yakima (now Yakima).
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the following describ-
ed readl property situated in Yakima County, State of Washington, to -wit:
Lot 12, Block 34, Tennant & Miles' New Modern
Addition to North Yakima (now Yakima),
according to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the
Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, by reason of a deed therefor issued by the Treas-
urer of Yakima County, County of Yakima, State of Washington, to said City of Yakima,
on sale of said property for delinquent taxes, and
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of said City of
Yakima to sell said premises to OSCAR BERGQUIST and CHRISTINE BERGQUIST, husband and
wife,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:
That said above described premises be and they are hereby author-
ized to be sold to OSCAR BERGQUIST and CHRISTINE BERGQUIST, husband and wife, for the
total sum of One Hundred Seventy and No /100 ($170.00) Dollars, and the Mayor, A. W.
Mogren, is hereby authorized to execute a deed to said premises, and the Deputy Clerk,
Florence Eschbach, is hereby authorized and directed to attest the same for and on be-
half of the said City of Yakima.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved this 21st day
of September, 1942.
