Moved by Mogren, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, August 10, 1942 be approved as read: carried, Mogren, Washburn and Clark voting aye, on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Mogren that the following payrolls be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Parking Meter Fund $45.36; Irriga- tion $114.66; C. S. P. `35 and' 37 $49i.29: carried, Mogren, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Mogren that the following claims be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Current Expense $2459.65; .City Street $4239.23; Library $744.63; Park $562.03• L.I.V s $341.53; Irrigation $175.63; Cemetery $838.57;. Water $2233.76; Water Deposit 4556.00; P. R. & P. $272.48; Tax Fund $383.05; Crusher $244.74; Municipal Garage $275.27;, L.I.D. Guaranty $1,000.00; Parking Meters $53.24: carried, Mogren, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Mogren, seconded by Clark that the ordinance introduced by Ray Washburn, Finance Commissioner, providing for the expenditure of money not provided for in the 1942 Budget, to meet a public emergency, be read by the City Clerk and laid on the table for one week as provided by law: carried, Mogren, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that the City Engineer having reported the comple- tion of the sidewalk in Local Improvement District No. 591, said work is hereby accept- ed and the City Engineer authorized to prepare an assessment roll for said district and the City Clerk instructed to give notice of hearing on said assessment roll for Tuesday, September 8th, 1942 at ten o'clock A. M: carried, Mogren, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE'NO.. B =56&.; entitled, "AN ORDINANCE creating a special fund to be known as "CEMETERY SUSPENSE ACCOUNT "; providing for sources of revenue thereof, and for disburse- ments to be made therefrom; amending any ordinance in conflict herewith; and declaring an emergency ", was introduced by Washburn and read by the City Clerk. Moved by Mogren, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -568 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Mogren, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
