Moved by Mogren, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Mon- day, May 25th aiid adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Mogren, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C -550, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA: That it is its intention to improve both sides of Custer Avenue between Folsom Avenue and Browne Avenue by the construction of a Portland cement con- crete sidewalk five feet in width, according to the plans and specifications to be pre- pared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk. That the district to be served by and. assessed for the above described improvement is described as follows, to- wit: All tracts included in Lot 54 of Ker's Villa Lots. All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improve- ment are hereby notified to appear and. present such objection, if any, at a meeting of the City Commission to be held at its office in the City Hall in the City of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, at the hour of ten o'clock A. M., on Monday the 22nd day of June, 1942, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said proposed improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the method of payment therefor; and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said. hearing and of the intention �to make the aforesaid improvement. The cost and expense of said improvement shall be borne by and assessed against all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor, as pro- vided by law, and as above described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to sub- mit to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data. and other information required b,r law to be by him submitted.
