Moved. by Mogren, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, May 4th, 1942 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Mogren, Wash- burn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Mogren, seconded by Washburn that the following persons are hereby named to serve on the Yakima Housing Authority for the length of time set opposite their respec- tive names: R. R. Glenn, 5 years; Geo. Gannon, 4 years; A. D. Stebbins, 3 yrs; Erling Helliesen, 2 years and E. J. McKanna, 1 year; said terms of office to date from May 5th, 1942: carried, Mogren, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll calla Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the claim of Rex :Covey and Lorraine Covey, husband and wife, for damages in the sum of $505.63 alleged to have been sustained by reason of a collision on South First.and Walnut Streets with an army truck, is hereby rejected: carried, Mogren, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C -546, A RESOLUTION authorizing the Water Department of the City of Yaki- ma to destroy certain old and.obsolete records. WHEREAS the vault in the Water Department is overcrowded and it ha.s become a problem to find storage space for current records, and WHEREAS certain records have ceased to be of value to the Water Department, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Yakima, that R. W. White, Auditor of the Yakima Water Department be and he is here- by authorized to destroy the following records of said Water Department: Labor reports - 1926 to 1934. Operating Orders ­1926 to 1941. Re-Cap. Sheets - 1926 to 1941. Request for Requisitions - 1926 to 1941. Cut -ins and Cut -outs - 1926 to 1932. Meter Changes - 1926 to 1941.
