Mnve,9 by Mogren, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Mon- day, March.30th, 1942 and adjourned meetings thereof be approved as read: carried, Mogren, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Mnve(9 by Washburn, seconded by Mogren that the following payrolls be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants-as follows: Sanitation Dept. $1066.15; Cemete $198.00; Cemetery Care $332.00; Park $120.00; Crusher $279.30; Street x$690.92; Irriga- tion $217.82; City Street Mtse. $498.00: carried, Mogren, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the claim of Betty Bauer, heretofore filed aga.ins.t the Ci'ty' of Yakima, for damages in the sum of $10,000.00 alleged to have been sustained by reason of unlawful incarceration in'the City Jail is hereby rejected: car- ried, Mogren, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -557, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. B -471, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE relating to the Water Department of the City of Yakima; providing regula- tions for the connection to the City's water supply system of plumbing outside the city limits of Yakima; providing penalties for violation thereof, and declaring an emer genc,y ", by adding a new section thereto; and declaring an emergency. ", was introduced by Clark and read by the City Clerk.
