Moved by Mogren, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, March 16th, 1942 be approved as read: carried, Mogren, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Mogren, seconded by Washburn that the following payrolls be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: sanitation $941.16; Park $136.00; Cemeter $214.00; Cemetery Care $186.00; Irrigation $254.50; Crusher $161.20 and City Street 730.20: carried, Mogren, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. RESOLU'T'ION NO. C -541, A RESOLUTION authorizing the improvement of a portion of South Second S.tr,ee-t, South Third Street and South Fourth Street in the City of Yakima, Wash- ington, by the construction of a storm drain and by the elimination of the existing open gutters. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF.•THE CITY OF YAKIMA: That the improvement of South Second, South Third and South Fourth Streets from East Yakima Avenue to Race Street by the construction of a storm drain to- gether with all necessary drainage inlets and outlets and by the elimination of the exis ing open gutters as shown on the accompanying plan, be and the same is hereby authorized under the provisions of Chapter 187 of the Laws of 1937.
