Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the..regular meeting of Monday, February 16, 1942 be''approved as read: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that the following payrolls be allowed and the City C1erk.',authorized to issue warrants as follows: Crusher $366.44; Cemetery $158.00; Cemetery Care $104.00; Sanitation x$927.89; City Street $752.15; City Street Mtse. $.174.2c; carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that the City Engineer having reported the comple- tion of the irrigation system in L.I.D. No. 579, said work is hereby accepted and the City Engineer authorized to prepare an assessment roll for said district and the City Clerk instructed to give notice of hearing on said assessment roll for Monday, March 16th, 1942 at ten o'clock A. M: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Riley that the hearing on the assessment roll in L.I.D. No. 577, providin for a sewer in the Hamberg Addition is hereby continued to Thursday, February 26th, 192 at ten o'clock A. M: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that this being the time for the hearing on Resolu- tion No. C -540, providing for the construction of a domestic water system for Lundy Lane Addition and other property in the City of Yakima, and there being no objections in writing or otherwise, to said improvement, or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance creating a Local Improvement District be passed as finally read: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -549, entitled, ''AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of property in the City of Yakima, Washington, by constructing the necessary mains, fire hydrants, valves and other appurtenances to supply various lots and tracts of land with water for domestic use; establishing a Local Improvement District, providing for the method of payment therefor, and creating a special fund " -, was introduced by Riley and read by the City Clerk. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -549 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved. by Washburn; seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -549 be passed to its third reading and read in full: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting a-ye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -549 be passed as finally read: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Riley, seconded by Clark that we do now adjourn to meet Thursday, February 26th, 1942, at ten A. M: carried,,Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. No. 577; it is ordered that confirmation of said assessment roll be delayed'until a later date: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark vot- ing aye on roll call. Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that we do now adjourn to meet Saturday, February 28th, 1942 at nine o'clock A. M: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
