The City Commission met in regular session, Ma.yor Riley absent, Commissioners Washburn
and Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
February.9th, 1942.be approved as read: carried, Riley, absent, Washburn and Clark
voting aye on roll call.
Mnved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the following payrolls be allowed and the
City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Irrigation x$236.20; L.I.D. 578
$16.99 and Water $1110.18: carried, Riley absent, Washburn and Clark voting aye on
roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the following claims be allowed and the City
Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Current Expense $4094.58; City Street
x$4300.71; Library $456.37; Park $216.58; Cemetery $$19.19; Fixed Estimate $90.15; Rey'.
$9.28; L.I.Ds $746.96; Irrigation x$1832.12; Water $3474.10; L.I.D. Guara.nt $800.00,;
Crusher x$271.80; Water Deposit $495.00; P. R. & P. $148.75 and F. R. & P. ;11.80: car-
ried, Riley absent, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that the City Engineer having reported the comple-
tion of L.I.D. 575, said work is hereby accepted and the City Engineer is hereby author-
ized to prepare an assessment roll for said District and the City Clerk instructed to
give notice of hearing on the assessment,roll for Monday, March 9th, 1942 at ten o'clock
A. M: carried, Riley absent, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on the
assessment roll in L.I.D. No. 575, providing for a domestic water system on Pacific
Avenue and other streets in the City of Yakima and there being no objection in writing
or otherwise to said assessment roll, or any part thereof; it is ordered that the or-
dinance confirming said assessment roll and every part thereof be passed as finally
read: carried, Riley absent,.Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -547, entitled, "'AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll covering
Local Improvement District No. 575, as created and established by Ordinance No. B -530
of the ordinances of the City of Yakima ", was introduced by Clark and read by the City
Clerk.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -547 be passed to its second
reading and read by title only: carried, Riley absent,.Washburn and Clark voting aye
on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -547 be passed to its third
reading and read in full: carried, Riley absent, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -547 be'passed as finally
read: carried, Riley absent, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on the
assessment roll in L.I.D. No. 576, providing for a sidewalk on 16th Avenue from Bonnie
Doon to Nob Hill Blvd. and there being no objections in writing or otherwise to said.

of the ordinances of the City of Yakima ", was introduced by Clark and read by the City
Clerk.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -545 be passed to its second
reading and read by title only: carried, Riley absent, Washburn and Clark voting aye
on roll call.

Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on the
assessment roll in L.I.D. No. 577, providing for the construction of a sewer system in
the Hamberg Addition and a protest being filed by Florence Hamberg, representing the
Hamberg estate, against said assessment roll; it is ordered that the hearing on said
assessment roll be continued to Tuesday, February 24th, 1942 at ten o'clock A. M: ca.r-
ried, Riley absent, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
