Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, January 12, 1942 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that we do:%now adjourn to meet Friday, January 23rd; 1942 at 9 o'clock A. M: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. ADJOURNED MEETING, FRIDAY, JANUARY 23, 1942, 9 A. M. The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Riley and Commissioners Wash- burn and Clark present on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C -538, A RESOLUTION authorizing the expenditure of an additional-sum of money for the improvement of certain streets in the City of Yakima: WHEREAS: Due to an increase in the cost of the base, the total cost of City Street Project No. 32 amounted to $4571.30 instead of $3865.04, as shown in Resolution No. 0-506. BE IT'RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA: That the expenditure of an additional sum of $706.26 be and the same is hereby authorized under the provisions of Chapter 197 of the Laws of 1937. PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON, this 23rd day of January, 1942. ATTEST: PEARL BENJAMIN, (S E A L) E. B. RILEY, City Clerk. Mayor.
