Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Mon - day, October 21st, 1940 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Riley, seconded by Clark that the West 50' of Lot 24, Yakima Acre Tracts be changed from B Residence District to The Business District: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Riley, seconded by Clark that this being the-time for the hearing on the assessment roll in Local Improvement District No. 562 and there being no objections in writing or otherwise to said assessment roll, or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance confirming said assessment roll and every part thereof be passed as finally read: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -494, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll coveringg Local Improvement District No. 562, as created and established by Ordinance No. B -Ul of the ordinances of the City of Yakima ", was introduced by Riley and read by the City Clerk. Moved. by Clark, seconded by Washburn that Ordinance No. B -484 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Riley., Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by.Clark, seconded by Washburn that Ordinance No. B -494 be passed to its third reading.and read in full: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that Ordinance No. B -484 be passed as finally read: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that Ordinance No. B -495 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that Ordinance No. B -485 be passed to its third. reading and read in full: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that Ordinance No. B -485 be passed as finally read carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that we do now adjourn to meet Thursday, October 31, 1940 at nine o'clock A. M: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the payrolls for the month of October, 1940, be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Various Depts. 34ol.43 Health $1112.50; Fire Dept. $6374.16; Police $4351.66; Engineer $575.20; Library 756.15; Irrigation $361.65; F. R. & P. $657.05; P. R. & P. $196.25; Revolving $763.47; Cemetery $127.57; Park 4150.00 and City Street $215.00: carried, Riley, Wash - burh and Clark voting aye on roll call.
