The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Riley and Commissioners Washburn and
Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Mon-
day, October;14, 1940 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Ri-
ley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved. by Clark, seconded by Washburn that the following payrolls be allowed and the
City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Revolving $190.25; Irrigation
$107.98; Street $1115.76; Sanitation $776.25; Cemetery $84.00• Cemetery Care $132.00;
Crusher $295.13; Park 88.50; Water $847.00 and Proj. No. 25 6341.07: carried, Riley,
Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Riley that the following claims be allowed and warrants
issued on the following funds by the City Clerk; Current Expense $3122.87; City Street
$3441.84• Library $333.27; Park $239.74; Cemetery $56.81; Fixed Estimate $78.54• Re!
volving 41882.37; L.I.D's $2270.52; Irrigation $190.90; Water $7301.66; Crusher 41374.91
P. R. & P. $17.15; Water $312.00 and L.I.D. Guaranty $1300.00: carried, Riley, Washburn
and_ Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moves by Riley, seconded by Washburn that there being no further business to -ome before
the Board, we do now adjourn to meet Tuesday, October 22, 1940 at 2 o'clock P. M: car- ,

ADJOURNED MEETING, TUESDAY, OCTOBER 22, 1940, 2 P. M.
The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Riley and Commissioners Wash-
burn and Clark present on roll.call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -493, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE establishing fire zones within the City
of Yakima, adopting a fire zone map showing boundaries thereof, and repealing Ordinance
No. B -11; and declaring an emergency ", was introduced by Riley and read by the City
Clerk.

reading and read by title only: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -493 be passed to its third
reading and read in full:. carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved. by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -483 be passed as finally
read: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
