The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Riley and Commissioners Washburn
and Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the adjourned hearing
on Resolution No. C -478, it is ordered that the hearing be postponed to Monday, Septem-
ber 9th, 1940 at ten o'clock A. M: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on
roll call.
Moved. by Riley, seconded by Clark that we do now adjourn to meet Wednesday, August 28,
1940 at nine o'clock A. M: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark_ voting aye on roll call.

burn and Clark present on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO. C -480, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale and conveyance of the East 5
feet of Lot 13, Block 3, Highland_ Home Tracts, according to the official plat recorded
in Volume F of plats, page. 43, on file in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County,
Washington. ``
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is now the owner of the following
described real property, situate in the County of Yakima, State of Washington, to -wit:
The East 5 feet of Lot 13, Block 3, Highland Home Tracts, accord-
ing to the official plat recorded in Volume F of Plats, page 43, on file in the office
of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington;
and
WHEREAS, said property is noe needed for city purposes, and it
is deemed for the best interests of the City of Yakima, to sell said premises to MARK
M. YEACKEL, whose wife is MILDRED A. YEACKEL, for the.sum of eighty dollars ($80.00);
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CI ^1Y OF YAKIMA
that the above described real property be sold to Mark M. Yeackel whose wife is Mildred
A. Yeackel, for the total sum of $80.00 cash, and that the Mayor and City Clerk of the
City of Yakima are hereby authorized and directed to immediately upon such payment
being made, execute and deliver to said Mark M. Yeackel whose wife is Mildred A. Yeacke
a good and sufficient deed to said premises-:
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, this 28th day of August, 1940.
