Moved-by Washburn, seconded by Riley that the following payrolls be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants on the following funds: Cemetery $154.00; Cemetery Care $397.50; Sanitation $777.50; Crusher $544.33; Park $1031.40; City Street $1282.20; Street Mtse. $90.57: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that we -do now adjourn to meet Thursday, July 18th, 1940 at 9 o'clock A. M: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. ADJOURNED MEETING, THURSDAY, JULY 1g, 1940, 9 A. M. The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Riley and Commissioners Wash- burn and Clark present on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that the City Engineer having reported the com- pletion of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 554, for the construction of the West Pine Street curb and gutter project, said work is hereby completed and the City Engineer is hereby authorized to give notice of hearing on said roll and the City Clerk authorized to give notice of hearing on said roll for Monday, August 12th, 1940 at ten o'clock A. M: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Riley that the following claims be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants on the following funds: Current Expense $2,197.29; City Street $4, 2.95; Park $79 .07; Cemetery $96.31; Revolving $269.98• Irrigation 398.45; L.I.D's3 ;440.57; Water 13,224.87; F. R. & P. $80.47; Accident 16.50; Crusher 1,942.42; Delinquent Property Sales $220.08; P. R. & P. $41.50 and Municipal Garage $252.60: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Riley that the City Engineer having reported the comple- ti_on.of the sewer district in Local Improvement District No. 568, said work is hereby accepted and the City Engineer is hereby authorized to prepare an assessment roll for said district and the City Clerk instructed to give notice of hearing on said roll for Monday, August 12th, 1940 at ten o'clock A.
