The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Riley and Commissioners Washburn and II
Clark present on roll call. u
Moved by Riley, seconded by-Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
June 24th, 1940 and adjourned meetings thereof be approved as read: carried, Riley,
Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Riley that the following payrolls be allowed and the
City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: L.I.D. Revolving $273.00; Irriga-
tion_$201.96; Water $762.92: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call.
Moved. by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to enter into an agreement with the North First Street Lateral, Inc., to divert a
quantity of water from the City Ditch from a point on North First Avenue where the
same crosses North Avenue and for such other and further provisions contained in-said
contract: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -460, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE fixing the time of delinquency of install-
ments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Im-
provement District No. 556, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attache
for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof ", was introduced by Washburn and read by
the City Clerk.

ORDINANCE NO. B -461, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll covering
Local Improvement District No. 561, as created and established by Ordinance No. B -435
of the ordinances of the City of Yakima ", was introduced by Washburn and read by the
City Clerk.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Clark that Ordinance 'No. B -461 be passed to its second
reading and read by title only: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call.
