The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Riley and Commissioners Washburn and
Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
May 27th, 1940 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Riley,
Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved. by Washburn, seconded by Riley that the following payrolls be allowed and the
City Clerk authorized.to issue warrants as follows: Cit Street Mtse. $286.61• Water.
$818.53; Revolving $345.15; Irri ation $195.69; Crusher 509.67; Street Dept. J898.28;
Cemetery $168.00; Cemetery Care 9426.00; Sanitation $768.98; Park $611.56: carried,
Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the City Engineer having reported the comple-
tion of the water system in Local Improvement District No. 561., said improvement is
hereby accepted and the City Engineer authorized to prepare an assessment roll for said
district and the City Clerk instructed to give notice of hearing on said roll for Mon-
day, July 1, 1940 at ten o'clock A. M: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye
on roll call.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that we do now adjourn to meet Thursday, June
13th, 1940 at nine o'clock A. M: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call.
ADJOURNED MEETING, THURSDAY, JUNE 13, 1940, 9 A. M.

Moved by Clark, seconded by Riley that the City Engineer having reported the completion
of the 21st Avenue South Domestic Water System, Local Improvement District No. 560;
said work is hereby approved and the City Engineer authorized to prepare an assessment
roll for said district and the City Clerk instructed to give notice of hearing on said
roll for Monday, July 8th, 1940 at ten o'clock A. M': carried, Riley, Washburn and
Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Clark that we do now adjourn: carried, Riley, Washburn
and Clark voting aye on roll call.
