The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Riley and Commissioners Washburn
and Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
May 6, 1940 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Riley, Wash-
burn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
MnvPd by Washburn, seconded by.Clark that the ordinance creating a Local Improvement
District for'the construction of an irrigation system on Glen Drive and other streets
in the City of Yakima as provided by Resolution No. C -469 heretofore adopted by the
City, be passed with the elimination of certain territory heretofore agreed upon:
carried, Riley,., Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -453, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of property
in the City of Yakima, Washington, by the construction of an irrigation system; estab-
lishing a Local Improvement District; providing for the method of payment therefor; and
creating a special fund ", was introduced by Washburn and read by the City Clerk.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -453 be passed to its second
reading and read by title only: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -453 be passed to its third read-
ing and read in full: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B- 453,be passed as finally read:

Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that we do now adjourn to meet Wednesday,. May 15th,

Clerk authorized to issue warrantscs follows: Current Expense $3426.87; Fixed Estimate
$153.06 Revolving $3641.04; Irrigation $175.62; Cemetery $418.99; Park $259.33; City
Street X3406.49; Water $4037.90; L..I.D. Guaranty $200.00; Crusher $1005.89.and P. R. &
P. $10.00: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call'.
