Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, March 4, 1940 be approved as read: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Riley that the City County of Yakima making a sale of one share of Company and the County of Yakima hereby accepts rentals due from the Citv to the County for the ten year period, of the lease heretofore intered_ Clark voting aye on roll call. Commission hereby consents to the stock in the Naches & Cowychee Ditch this consent in fu;; payment of all rent of the airport for the initial into: carried, Riley, Washburn and Moved by Washburn, seconded by Riley that the following payrolls be allowed and the City Clerk authorized.to issue warrants as follows: City Street $1,308.92; Crusher 245.63; Sanitation $764.75; Park $135.50; Cemetery $132.00; L.I.D. Revolving $500.18; and Irrigation $25.50: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C -456, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON: That it is its intention to construct a domestic water system to sefve all the lots and tracts of land included within the following described dis- trict: said improvement to consist of the acquiring of right of way easements, and the install- ation of the necessary mains, fire hydrants, valves and other appurtenances for the purpose of supplying water for domestic use; and to be constructed in full accorcance with the plans and specifications to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk. All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement are hereby notified to appear and -present such objection, if any, at P. meeting of the City Commission to be held. at its office in the Cit,y,Hall in the City of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, at the hour of ten o'clock A. M., on Monday, the 1st day of April, 1940, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters related to said proposed improvement, or objections thereto, and for determining the method of payment therefor; and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement. The labor for this project is to be furnishe( by the Works Pro- jects Administration, and the balance of the cost and. expense indicent thereto shall be levied and assessed against the property included in the district above described, a.nd legally and properly assessable therefor as provided by law, and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed here- in for said hearing, all of the data and other information required by law to be by him submitted..
