Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Riley, seconded_ by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting -of Monday,
February 26th, 1940 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: ' carried, Riley,
Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that there being no business to come before the
Board, we do now adjourn: carried, Riley, Washburn and_ Clark v oting aye on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO. C- 4555a, A resolution authorizing the leasing of a portion of the air-
port to Herman A. Poulin and A.L.Baxter.
Whereas, Herman A. Poulin and A.L.Baxter have made application to lease a portion
of the Yakima County Airport, more particularly described as follows : -, ~,
Beginning 1345.06 feet ? >>est and 90 feet south of . the _eas.t " uart.er ..... _.
cormer of Section 35, Township 13 North, Range 18 E.W.M;'then!c'e
westerly_ and parallel with the north line of, the southeast o.uI ter
of said Section 35, a distance of 180 feet; thence southerly 1140
feet; thence easterly 180 feet; thence northerly*140 feet to the
point of beginning, and
Whereas, the County of Yakima has agreed to such lease pursuant to law and it is
necessary that the.City of Yakima join in said lease because of the least held by the
C °ity ;of. Ya.kima_.a.overing -..the entiexe airport, and the terms of such lease have been
agreed to; r'
NOW, THEREFORE,.BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA, that the proper officers
of the City of Yakima be and. they are hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City
of Yakima a lease covering the property.above described to said Herman A. Poulin and A.L.
Baxter according to the terms and provisions of said lease agreement attached hereto.
Adopted by the City Commission, signed and approved this 4th day of March 1940.
