Moved b „v Washburn, seconded by Clark thatthe following payrolls be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Local Improvement District Revolving $612.75; Water Department $795.10: carried, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call, Riley absent. RESOLUTION NO. C -452, WHEREAS, by ordinance it is provided. that on the first Monday in February of each year, the City Commission of the City of Yakima, Washington, shall pass a resolution prescribing-the form of contract for the city advertising for the ensuing year; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Yakima, that the form of contract for the city advertising for the ensuing year shall be in substan- tially the form hereto att 'g.ched and made a, part hereof, and the''City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice for sealed proposals for a, contract for doing the city adver- tising for the ensuing year by publishing the same in the newspaper doing the city ad- vertising, for two successive issues, which notice sha11 contain a general statement of the terms of the contract to be let, together with the time and place when said bids will be opened and providing that any and all bids may be rejected.. - ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 5th day of February, 1940. Moved by Washburn, seconded b•y •Clark. that this being; the time for the hearing on Resolu- tion No. C -446, providing for the construction of a sewer on 3Oth Avenue North with Summitview and other streets in the City of Yakima, and known as 1131st Avenue Sewer District” and there being no objections in writing, or otherwese, to said improvement or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance creating a, local improvement district be -passed as finally read: carried, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call, Riley absent. ORDINANCE' NO. B -4.32, entitled, ".AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of property in the Citv of Yakima., Washington, by the construction of pipe sewers with the necessary wye branches, manholes, flush, tanks and water connections therefor; establishing a local improvement district; providing for the method_ of payment therefor; and creating a special fund", was introduced by Clark and read by the City Clerk. RESOLUTION NO. 0- 4-53, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sa.]_P of Lot 20, Block 24, Tennant & Miles' Modern Addition to North Yakima ( now Yakima.). WHEREAS, the City of Yakima, is the owner of the following de- scribed real property situated in Yakima County, State of Washington, to -wit: Lot 20, Block 24, Tennant & Miles' Modern Addition to North Yakima (now Yakima), accord- ing to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima. County, Washington, by reason of a deed therefor issued by the Treasurer of Yakima County, County of Yakima, State of Washington, to said City of Yakima, on sale of said property for delinquent taxes, and WHEREAS, it appears. to be for the best interest of said City of Yakima. to sell said premises to FRANK KAUTZMAN and JOHANNAH KAUTZMAN, husband and wife, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSTON OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA.
