ADDITIONS FOR 2013 In an effort to draw more people from outside our community, Hot Shots featured two additions this year; A men's elite division and a skills challenge. The elite division played on a sports court (rather than the street) while the skills challenge was a contest open to everyone (participants and spectators). POTENTIAL EXPANSION Due to the dramatic increase in teams over the past several years, the Hot Shots Organizing Committee will be discussing potential expansion of our playing areas for future tourneys. The Committee's recommendations will be taken to the Economic Development Department for review. PARTNERS The Sports Commission would like to express our appreciation to the following City departments for their help: Parks and Recreation, Economic Development, Codes Division, Refuse Department, Traffic Signal and Street Lights Department plus Block By Block. 3 -ON -3 TOURNEYTF DOWNTOWN YAKIMA Statements of Support from Yakima Organizations and Businesses "Hot Shots 3 -On -3 Basketball Tournament.
