Moved by Coonse, seconded by Dudley, that the City of Yakima, purchase six traffix signal signs from the Crouse -Hinds Company, T.S.W. -44 Signal Lights and Yercury Arc Control . Apparatus in the sum of x.$1386.00; carried,Dudley,Hedges .and Coonse- voting-aye on roll call. Moved by Dudley,second.ed by Hedges, that Mrs: Jessie Mackintosh-be appointed trustee of the Yakima Public Library to serve for a period of three years or until her successors is duly appointed and. qualified;carried,Dudley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll call. Moved by Coonse, seconded. by Dudley, that the City of - Yakima purchase 1000 feet of 22 inch fire hose at 90 cents per foot and 200 feet of • 3inch fire hose at 1.15 per foot from the Northwestern Fire Apparatus Company of Spokane ;Washington, terms to be 2% discount, 30 days or X1107 .40;carried,Dud.ley,Hed.ges and Coonse voting aye on roll call. Moved by Dudley,seconded by Hedges, that the vouchers of Troy-L, D.Bailey arid. G.M. E'llingsen in the sum of 4$25.00 each be allooied. and warrants issued to said parties for the reason that it appears from the statements of L.B.V,incent.,l ? olice Judge, that- a •dispute having arisen between the Police Sergeant and the Attorneys for defendants as to the time set for the trial and it further appearing from the Police -Judge that said case be reopened and a hearing had on the merits.said money.be refunded;carried,D-o.dley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll call. Moved by Coonse, s ec onded ' by Dudley, that the City Clerk is hereby 'instructed to give notice to contractors for paving Sixth Avenue from West Yakima Avenue to St. Helens Street in Local Impm vement District No-445, by publication as requi -red by law; said. bids to be received on Monday, January 16th,1928, at 10 o'clock A.M. carried,Dud.ley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll call. Moved by Hedges, seconded. by Dudley, that 71arrant No.1556, dated March 14th,1927, to Chas. Smith, in the sum of 04.00 on the Municipal Water Fund and Warrant No. 39228, dated July 11 1926, to C.S. Stevenson, in the sure of 4$3.00 on the Current Expense Fund, be cancelled.; carried.,Dudley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye,- on-roll call.
