The City Commission met in regular;session,Mayor Dudley and Commissioners Hedges and Coonse
voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Dudley, seconded by Heeges, - that the minutes of the regular meeting of Mjond.ay,Nov-
ember 7th,1927, be approved -as- read; carried,Dudley, Hedges: and Coonse voting aye onrroll
call.
Moved by Coonse, seconded -by Hedges, that this.being the time for the hearing on Resolution
No-B-1041 for paving Sixth Avenue South. from =Yakima Avenue, to, Peach Street—an'd a petition
having been presented by a majority of the property owners for extending said'paving.to
St .Halens Street; it 'is hereby ordered that a new resolution be passed `extending said
paving to St.Helens Street and that Resolution No.B -1041 be cancelled;carried,Dudley,
Hedges and. Coonse voting aye on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO .B -1043 , BE IT RESOLVED BY TIM CITY CO1LUAISS-ION OF THE CITY OF YAKIpIA ,SNASHINGTON
That it is the intention, of the City Commission of the City of - Yakima,
?lashington; to improve. Sixth Avenue South, frorn. West Yakima Avenue .to- St.Helens Street, by
grading and paving, the same with either a one course Portland cement.- concret e.'pay.ement, a
".Vibrolithic" concrete pavement, or a pavement having a- Portland cement concrete.base and
either a bituminous concrete -wearing surface or a "Bituli.thic" wearing surface,, the paveraen
to be 64 feet in.width from b'le'st Yakima Avenue to the alley south of West.Yakim.a Avenue, 40
feet in width from 'said alley to West `' lanut Street, 52 feet in width from West Walnut Stre
to Nest Pine Street, the pavement betteen Zest Pine Street and Division Street to consist
of two-roadways-'each 18 feet in width with a central parking strip 24 feet in w=idth, and th
pavement .to be 30. feet in 'width from Division Street to St.Helens Street, by constructing
concrete curbs along each sid.e of -said pavement -4 from `Nest Yakima Avenue to the alley south
of Nest Yakima..Avenue and .from West `7la7nut Street to-Division Street,-by constructing pipes
and drains where necessary for drainage and irrigation purposes and by doing' all such ot.her
work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with plans and.specifi-
cations the - refor.to be prepared by the City Engineer and to be filed with the City Clerk.
All p6rs ons who may desire to. object to* said. proposed improvement are hereby
notified to appear arid -present' such objections at a. meeting of'the City Commission to be
held at its offices in the: City Office Building in the City of Yakirtma,Washington, at-.the
hour of 9 o'clock A.M. on Monday the 5th day of December-,.1927, which time and. place are
hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said proposed improvement, all
objections thereto, and-for determining the method of payment therefor, and the City Clerk
is hereby di=rected t -o- give due notice-of said hearing and of the intention to make the
aforesaid improvement.
The cost .a.nd expense of said improvement shall be borne by-:and assessed
against all, of- the .prope.rty.' legally and properly assessable therefor, .as- provided by law,
and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission, at or prior to
the date fixed herein for said. hearing, .all of the data and other information required by
law to be submitted by. him...

against Halstead and. Noe1.,.contractors, in Local Improve -rent District NO-425 and 426 be
allowed and warrants in the sum.of $1550.27 -be turned over to them upon the, release of the
assignment of Jerome Lewis,Attorney in Fact for the bonding dompany .;carried,Du.d.ley,Hedges
and Coonse voting aye on roll call.

authorized to is'sue warrants therefor;carried,Dudle'y,Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll
call.
