on roll call, Coonse absent.
Moved by Dudley, seconded by Hedges, that the minutes of the regular meeting of Mond.ay;May 23
1927, be approved as read;carried, Dudley,and Hedges voting aye on roll call,.C.00nse absent.
Moved by Hedges, seconded by Dudley,.that this dieing the time for the hearing on Resolution
No -.B -1024 to pave the' alley in Block 31, and there being no objections in writing, or other-
wise to said. improvement or any- part thereof_, it is orderd. that the ordinance creating a loc
improvement district be laid on the table for one week;ca.rried, Dudley and Hedges, voting aye
on roll call, Coonse absent.
Moved by Hedges, seconded by Dudley, that this being the time for the hearing on Resolution
No.B -1025 to pave" the alley in Block 50, and, there being no objections in writing or other-
wise to waid improvement or any part thereof_, it is ordered that the ordinance creating a

RESOLUTION NO.B -1032, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIC; CITY COij11',iISSION OF T-11153 CITY OF YAKIt1 L,WASHINGTON:
That it is its intention to improve Lots 3 ,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,.13,14,15 and 16
in Block 2 of Gilbert Addition to the City of Yakirna,'v7ashington, by the construction of a
vitrified clay pipe setirer, 6 inches in inside diameter, beginning at the terminus of the
sewer heretofore constructed on Summitview Avenue at a point 5 feet west of the. East line of
said Block 2, thence south along a line parallel with arid., 5. feet west of the east line of sai
Block 2 to a point 50 feet north of the north' line of `:Nest Yakima Avenue, said sewer to be
provided with 2 manholes, 1 automatic flush tank and 15 wye branches, and the doing of such
other work as may be necessary in. connection therewith, ;ill in accordance with the plans and
specifications t;:.erefor prepared. by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk.
All persons who may desire to object to said. proposed improvement are hereby
notified to appear and. present such objections at a meeting of the City Commission to be held
at its offices in the City Office Building in the City of Yakima,Washington, at the hour of
9:00 'o'clock A.PA. on Monday, the 20th day of June,1927, which time and place are hereby fixed
for the hearing of all -nattefs relating t;o: said proposed improvement, all objections thereto
and for determining the method of payments herefor,, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to
give due notice of said: hearing and of the intention to fake the aforesaid improvement.
The cost and. expense of said improvement shall be borne by and. arse_:sed against a!
of the property legally and. properly assessable' therefor as provided by law and the City
Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Cor%nission at or prior to the date fixed
herein. for said. hearing, all of the data and other information required by law to -be sub -
mitted.by him.

in the City of Yakima,Nashington, by grading and gravelling the same, establishing a Local
Irsproveznent District, provid.ing the method of payment therefor -, and creating a special fund"
was introduced by Hedges and read by the City Clerk.

Tuioved by Hedge's, seconded by Dudley, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to give notice
to contractors by publication as required by law f>r grading and gravelling Cornell Avenue,
from Division Street to Peach Street in Local Impxc vement District No.435; said bids to be
received on ldonday, June 13th,1927, at 10 o!clock .x.11. carried, Dudley and Hedges voting aye
on roll call, Coonse absent.
Moved by Hedges, seconded by Dudley, that this being tine time for receiving bids for .con-
structing .cement concrete sidewalks on South Second. Street, in Local Improvement District
No:430 and also on South Tenth Avenue in Local Improvement District No-434, the following
bids were received: Francis B.Uest ; Harlon J.Hend.erson and. Elmer Murray on South Second
Street the sum of $451.23, on. South Tenth Avenue the sum of $504.00; J.11.DeBla; ;io on South
Second Street, the sirn of ;462.80 and on South Tenth Avenue the sum of $480.00; it is there-
fore ordered that J.1q. DeBlasio be awarded the contract to construct a cement sidewalk
