25th,1927, and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as-read;carried, Dudley,Hedges and Coons(
voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO,.A -1036, entitled: "An Ordinance providing for- the improvement 'of property in the
City of Yakima, Washington, by, the: construction- of a vitrifie-d clay pipe' sewer, establishing a
Local Improvement District, providing for the method: of payment therefor, and creating a
special fund ", was introduced -by Coonse -and read by-the City Clerk.

District No-432;-said bids to be received bn Y1onda:y,May 16th,1927, -at 10 o'clock A.M.carried.,

RESOLUTION NO B -1022, BE. IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY C012,1ISSI.ON. OF .T1E CITY OF.-YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:
That it is its intention to improve Cornell- Avenue from Division-Street to Peach
Street, all in .the. City of Yakima,lWashington, by grading and- gravelling---the 'same, the graded
roadway to be-twenty-feet in width, and the gravelled portion - -to be sixteen .feet in width,
an&,by.:doing-al- l:,su.ch other work as may be necessary.in connection therewith, all in accord -
•ance wi.th..the plans -..and specifications therefor, to be prepared by the'City Engineer and filed
with the City Clerk.
All persons who may desire to object to said prop.o.sed improvement are hereby
notified to ep - pear.• and present such objections at a meeting of the - City Commission. to. be held
at its- offices- in t =he .C:ity .Office Building in -the. City of Yakima,Washirng.ton; at the hour of
9 o' clmck- A.M... on Monday.., the 23rd day.. of May,1927,. w- hick time and place. are hereby fixed for
the hearing.of all matters relating to said:.pr.oposed improvement, all objections t.nereto,
and: for determining the method of payment therefor.,. and the City Clerk is hereby directed to
give due.-. not -ice of said .hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement.
The cost and expense..of, said improvement shall be borne by and:- assessed against all
of the•property• legally and properly assessable!. -tine ref .or..:,: -as provided..by� law, :and the City
Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission,, -at. or prior-to the date fixed
herein for said hearing,. all of the data and•other information. required by law to be submitted
by him.
